A beginner-friendly introduction to needle felting, where participants learn core wool sculpting techniques while creating a small sitting bluebird for spring display. The class covers tools, needles, felting surfaces, and wool types, along with shaping, color blending, and surface felting techniques.
Description
Learn needle felting basics with Libby Mortensen while making your own sweet little sitting bluebird to display for spring (about 4.5” long, without legs/feet). Wool sculpting techniques will include wrapping and shaping, blending colors and surface felting. Learn about basic tools, felting surfaces, gauges of needles and their best uses, and types of wool best suited for needle felting!
Materials Fee: $30 - Will be paid to instructor day of workshop (cash or check)
